Departments organize your team, for example Sales and Support. A chat’s department shows in Visitor details in the Inbox.

Create a department

  1. Open Settings › Departments and click Create department.
  2. Give it a name and a description, then save.
To put a teammate in a department, open Settings › Teammates, choose Edit Agent for them and pick the Department.
