# Channels and integrations

> Bring WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram and Telegram chats into your inbox.

Connect your messaging channels, and their chats land in your [Inbox](https://docs.emplorium.io/inbox/overview.md) next to your website chats: one place to answer everything, and Aura can help on every channel.

Integrations: each channel with its status.

Open **Integrations** in the left sidebar. Each card shows whether the channel is **Connected**, **Not connected** or **Needs attention**. Channels marked **Coming soon** can't be connected yet.

## WhatsApp

Connect one or more WhatsApp numbers and reply to WhatsApp chats from your inbox.

1. On the **WhatsApp** card, click **Connect**.
2. Click **Add WhatsApp Business number** and follow the steps to connect your number.
3. Your numbers appear under **Connected WhatsApp numbers**, with their display name and phone number.

## Messenger (Facebook)

Connect one or more Facebook Pages and reply to their Messenger chats from your inbox.

1. On the **Facebook** card, click **Connect**.
2. Click **Add Facebook page** and follow the steps to connect your page.
3. Your pages appear under **Connected Facebook pages**.

## Instagram

Manage your Instagram direct messages from the shared inbox.

1. On the **Instagram** card, click **Connect**.
2. Click **Add Instagram account** and follow the steps to connect your account.
3. Your accounts appear under **Connected Instagram accounts**.

## Telegram

Connect a Telegram bot so your team can receive and reply to its messages.

**1. Create a bot**

In Telegram, open **BotFather** (the **Open BotFather** link takes you there), send `/newbot` and follow its prompts. BotFather gives you a **bot token**.

**2. Paste the token**

On the **Telegram** card, click **Connect**, paste the token into **Bot token** and click **Connect bot**.

>
> Treat the bot token like a password: Emplorium won't show it again. Connecting routes the bot's incoming messages to Emplorium, so any other service that was receiving this bot's updates stops getting them.

## Disconnect a channel

Open the channel with **Manage**, select the numbers, pages, accounts or bot, and disconnect them. Emplorium stops receiving new chats from them; existing chats and their history stay in your inbox. You can reconnect at any time from **Integrations**.
